Peaks Island Baptist Church is the only Independent Bible Believing Baptist Church in all of Casco Bay. The church began in the spring of 2004 as a Mission Project of Grace Baptist Church, of Portland, Maine. In August of 2005, Peaks Island Baptist Church was officially organized with 12 charter members. God has greatly blessed our church since that time. Presently, our membership has more than doubled since our inception, and our weekly attendance is between 35 and 80. Through our church, hundreds of people throughout Casco Bay have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed. Our mission is to reach the islands of Casco Bay and the world as a whole with the Gospel and to introduce people to the reality of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
